It’s fast becoming apparent how the Internet has been changing the way consumers operate. Most auto buyers admit to doing research online before venturing out, so that they feel better prepared. And women will spend longer time researching cars online than men will - up to 3 weeks longer taking an estimated 17 weeks to make their decision. The average auto buyer will also look at 10 web sites before making their decision and buying a car.
Auto internet marketing may finally be catching up to, as more sites are geared towards selling to women, giving them the kind of information that they need, and foregoing the booth babes that traditionally adorn male-targeted sites.
Some agencies are setting up auto internet marketing divisions especially for women.
